Design,
commitment to service.

I like to be where the action is. Big problems and uncertainty, that's where creativity is really tested. Today we have a lot to work with!

When I graduated from Minneapolis College of Art & Design in 1985, family farms were collapsing all over the midwest. There was concern about 'the ozone layer'. Privatizing the national parks. Not exactly an optimistic career outlook! But this is the work we're given.

Baked into the American culture is community service. After a big tornado everyone comes together and gets creative. You can't blame a tornado or a flood. All you can do is pull together.

My background is representing new concepts in science and technology to the public, working for major museums, corporations and universities. For 10 years I took the lead with aquaponics. In 2018, the hemp industry emerged.

Hemp is a humanitarian cause with a lot of promise. It offers amazing value for housing, textiles, plastic and soil remediation, to deal with PFAS.
nVision is about to addressing the big issues, working with this plant, a gift to humanity if there ever was one. But it's been like the Wild West! Since 2018 I have developed a network of like-minded professionals and citizens who can benefit from professional collaboration.

That's what design is about.
